The Review
ONE GREEK SUMMER
I picked this up recently feeling the urge to travel but stay on my couch. Why not a summer in Greece through the pages of a book.
ONE GREEK SUMMER by Kate Frost is about one woman’s journey abroad to reconcile her tumultuous relationship with her mother and maybe relax, resolve her wanderlust and maybe figure out her life.
One could only hope.
I think this book will appeal to a younger audience. Perhaps a reader looking to explore themselves as much as Greece.
For me it lacked a little depth and excitement. The love story was a bit odd being both exploratory and timid. And I wanted the character to grow up a bit.
Overall, I think it would make a light and breezy, beach read perfect for enjoying with a glass of something age appropriate.

In The Blame Game, a psychologist working with victims of domestic abuse suddenly finds she may be being targeted herself: She knows she’s telling the truth. But the evidence says she’s lying.
The Review
THE FAVOR:
Reminiscent of THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN it begins with mirroring povs which may be confusing at first. But once you get down who is who and who’s drinking what you’ll be ok. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
OUTSIDE:
This scary af and atmospheric as standalone thriller is going to appeal to readers who love chilling settings and visceral details. Much like Jonassons other work, a bit too heavy for me. Nordic Noir lovers, FEAST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
LAST CALL AT THE NIGHTINGALE:
A speakeasy murder mystery with THE DIVINERS vibes. Stronger on vibes than anything else. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
THE GATEKEEPER:
Military special ops, hostility, and snipers oh my. A lot here that is not for me. Would appeal to JACK REACHER fans and those who find conversations meaningless. ⭐️⭐️
A RIP THROUGH TIME:
This was fun and adventurous with an interesting setup and even more interesting characters. Historical mystery fans are going to enjoy this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
THINGS WE DO IN THE DARK:
Hot like fire, this one was dark and unapologetic. Searingly written. I can’t wait to read the entire thing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
DIE AROUND SUNDOWN:
If you enjoy your mystery with a side of jest I recommend this one for you. A murder mystery with a character lineup that will make you smile and writing that will sweeten your tea. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
THE BLAME GAME:
The sampler for this one is teasing at something that if explored to the fullest would be like a plot line dream come true. Only Sandie Jones and time will tell. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This sampler is free currently on Amazon and it’s such a great way to get a taste of something and really know what you’re interested in ordering full versions of.
All of these books will be available this spring and summer 2022!

Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.
Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity’s notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn’t expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity’s recollection of what really happened the day her daughter died.
Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents would devastate the already grieving father. But as Lowen’s feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife’s words. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue to love her.

VERITY
Colleen Hoover
I’m still in the middle of reading all of Colleen Hoovers standalones and now that I’m reading this the third or fourth time around I’m simultaneously saying
“Ooh. I forgot that part”
And
“Oh, no Girl! Don’t do that”
I realized while reading this that the MC was both hornier and braver than I am, sacrificing her personal safety to see if her crush is as good as it’s said he is.
No thanks!
I’ll pass on that one.
I know this book isn’t going to appeal to every reader.
It’s truly unbelievable, the characters are people I would avoid on the sidewalk, and they’re doing implausible things.
But I’m eating it like up candy.
As fun as reading can be!
